Nicole Robinson
Nicole Robinson is currently an Administrative Law Judge with the State of Arizona’s Office of Administrative Hearings. ALJ Robinson primarily conducts licensing, special education, AHCCCS, and many other types of hearings on behalf of State agencies and regulatory, licensing bodies.
ALJ Robinson has been in the field of Administrative Law since 2008. Judge Robinson served as an ALJ, a Presiding Administrative Law Judge, and Administrator with the Appellate Services Administration for the Arizona Department of Economic Security dealing with state and federal social services programs and unemployment insurance. During the height of the Covid pandemic, Administrator Robinson managed an administration with over 300 employees.
Judge Robinson attended Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Telecommunications in Tempe, Arizona. She obtained her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. In Chicago, she is a licensed attorney who spent time in the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office working with children and their best interests. She has several years of experience as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer in Illinois and Arizona.
ALJ Robinson worked in radio broadcasting for many years and is well-traveled having worked with Southwest Airlines for over 14 years. She is married to Parrin Robinson (retired Los Angeles County Probation Supervisor) and they have two sons: Parrin, a freshman at Tuskegee University, and Kasen, a sophomore at Betty H. Fairfax High School in Laveen, Arizona. Also, Judge Robinson has a passion not only for children but also for military families and veterans having grown up on military bases as the daughter of a 28-year United States Air Force veteran (father) and a 30-year Department of Defense civilian contractor (mother). Nicole is beyond excited about The Carver and the good fight to keep our ancestors' dreams alive!
